Christian Dior Paris jewellery box - circa 1960s.  Designed for Dior by Maria Pergay with the original garnet red velvet lining with hallmarks in silver plate.  It is decorated with Maria Pergay’s famous Roman coin design on the lid.  Signed Christian Dior and made in France. Measures 8,5 cm diameter, 2.5 cm high.  Exterior shows use in keeping with its age, interior in perfect condition.
